Over the last few years, the Micro Pub industry has grown into a powerhouse of purveyors of good beers that you won’t find in a standard chain pub in your high street and even will stock those beers not found locally.
The general form is a one room venue, probably in a side street with no traditional bar. Licencing regulations often decree that everyone must be sitting and limited licencing hours are often imposed. Generally you will only have a choice of around 4 beers from a list of regular and guest beers.
Usually a list of beers with tasting notes that you make your selection from is available and then you request your host to get you your chosen beverage, my local goes into the back room and draws off the required brew and brings it to you.
